


Biography
Kirsty is a Scottish self-taught, award winning artist, who is a Fellow of Royal Society of Arts. She has a creative practitioner background as a dancer, theatre maker and musician. Her international career as a Performing Arts Manager has spanned more than thirty years.
She has worked globally at large scale venues as a manager, programmed festivals, curated community engagement events, delivered performing arts accredited educational training courses and has also produced small scale rural touring programs.
She became involved in visual art (self-proclaimed ‘accidental artist’) during the pandemic, whilst trying to encourage her daughter to apply for an exhibition and instead submitted work she had created herself as a response to grief.
Kirsty's undergraduate studies were completed at UCL, London, UK and post graduate at QUT, Brisbane, Australia.
She has co-written articles for a mental health journal and is a qualified career counsellor and mentor.
Kirsty is currently based in Scotland, has an art studio in London and maintains strong ties with Brisbane, Australia.

Art ‘Memory: Your Perspective’.
Her piece ‘Circadian Rhythm’ was selected by Alzheimer Scotland and Kenny Hunter, Edinburgh College of Art lecturer and sculptor (who has created a number of high profile, public commissioned works across the UK).
